Helsinki - consider it solved           

CNN International spent two weeks in Helsinki at the start of the year to have a closer look at how the city deals with challenges such as lack of daylight. As a result, CNN filmed four videos to its Future Cities series, presenting Helsinki as a functional, future-orientated design city with excellent snow-how. Read more

The advance voting in Britain will be held on 6–9 April 2010 in London and on 9 April 2011 in Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester, Newcastle and St Albans. The voting day in Finland is 17th April 2010. Read more

Storm brewing at the ballot boxes

Purdy Hicks Gallery presents Finnish photographer Jukka Puranen’s exhibition Shadows, reflections and all that sort of thing in London from March 3rd to 28th. The exhibition presents work from two recent series, which are inspired by light, shade and reflection. Read more
