Embassy of Finland in London is starting cooperation with VFS Global, and opening Visa Application Centres in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. From 4th November 2016, visa applications must be submitted in person at the Visa Application Centres.
In 2015 the Embassy of Finland in London processed over 2000 visa applications. The opening of the Visa Application Centres means more accessible and comprehensive Schengen visa services for the applicants. Even after the opening of the Visa Application Centres, the Embassy in London will process all the applications and make the decisions.
The new website (http://visa.finland.eu) will open on 31st October 2016. From the website, you will be able to check the addresses and opening hours of the Visa Application Centres, information on fees and how to apply for a visa at the visa centres. You will also be able to book a visa application appointment online. Visa Applications Centres will open on 4th November 2016.
The Finnish Embassy in London will receive Schengen visa applications by appointment as normal until 3rd November 2016.
