As from 4 November 2016, a prior appointment is required for Finnish passports and notarial services. The consulate section is also extending the opening hours for customer service and telephone enquiries. With the reform, we are aiming to make the consulate services more accessible and faster for our customers.
As from 4 November 2016, you will need to make an appointment in advance for passport and notarial services. In case of emergency, a booked appointment is not necessary.

Embassy of Finland in London is starting cooperation with VFS Global, and opening Visa Application Centres in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. From 4th November 2016, Schengen visa applications must be submitted in person at the Visa Application Centres. Only Schengen visa applications can be submitted at the Visa Application Centres. Residence permit and Finnish passport applications must still be submitted at the Embassy of Finland in London.
